Two popular icons totemic in Australian culture, the meat pie and the Thylacine, the largest marsupial predator and now the extinct was distinct because of the animal’s gape so wide it is often represented in contemporary illustration.

The meat pie is a convenient portable meal. It is easy to imagine these two totemic images are contrived by a contemporary designer on the drawing desk.
